Advisory Council

On January 14, 2011, at the initiative of the Board of Governors of the VERN' University of Applied Sciences (Branko Štefanović, president of the Board and president of the Management Board; Goran Radman, dean and member of the M. Board; Ozren Jureković, executive director and member of the M. Board; Ivo Ivančić, director of the Office of the M. Board), the VERN’s Advisory Council was founded, an umbrella strategic advisory body, composed of prominent experts from Croatia and abroad.

 At the founding session, the members have accepted the proposal of the Board of Governors and have elected as the president of the Advisory Council, Doris Pack, the European Parliament representative and Chairwoman of the Committee of Education, Culture, Media, Sports and Youth of the EU Parliament.

  MEMBERS OF THE VERN's ADVISORY COUNCIL

Members of the Council are representatives from the areas of science and education, economy, public, politics, culture and art, and their knowledge and experience contribute to the defining of strategic developmental guidelines and positioning of VERN' with special emphasis on the social context of its activity. The activities of the Council will be held in topical sessions and in consultative talks covering the topics primarily related to education and economy.
