Erasmus+ programme: Students from Austria and Netherlands at exchange semester at VERN'
At winter semester VERN' had traditionally hosted a group of foreign students who's decided to study a semester at foreign university, in this case VERN', in the framework of Erasmus+ international exchange programme.
At the beginning of academic year a group of 27 students have joined us at our academic activities and after few months of studying, web bring you their impressions – this time of four of them, from Austria and Netherlands.
I'm studying Corporate Communications at FHWien in Austria and I've decided to come to Zagreb, since I've visited your city this summer during a Balkan vacation tour and I really liked it. Besides, it's not so far from Wien. I've took courses Media Industry, PR and Forms of Communication and I don't have any regrets so far, not for VERN' or for Zagreb.
Manon van Overveld
I come from Dutch University of Applied Sciences Avans, where I study entrepreneurship and business management. Zagreb is a really beautiful city, full of friendly people, which is not exactly a case in the town of Breda (where the Avans is situated). I’m glad that I’ve made a positive impression about this city, and so about Croatia, since we‘ve travelled a lot. I’m also an active member of ENS group and I’m very satisfied with a set of marketing courses that I’ve chosen at VERN’.
I am the “second Manon” and I also come from Avans, where I study marketing. I am also a member of ENS, in the framework of which we have a lot of activities which is actually great, because every activity is scheduled and in that schedule I can always find enough time for networking with Erasmus colleagues. I like the Croatian style of living, as well as Dubrovnik, Central Dalmatia and Plitvice Lakes, which we’ve visited.
Lisanne de Jongh
I come from Breda where I study economics at Avans UAS, so I’ve chosen marketing courses at VERN’. I’ve quickly adapted to life in Croatia, since the climate is almost similar as in my place and people are very kind and approachable.
