Impressions of students from Slovenia, Poland and Spain about studying at VERN'

From the last group of foreign Erasmus students who have studied winter semester at VERN’, we bring you few more of their impressions about Zagreb, Croatia and studying on our courses.

This winter semester had attracted students from eight countries but for this occasion we asked students from Slovenia, Poland and Spain to share some of their thoughts.

Ewa Rybarczyk
I’ve decided to come to Croatia, because VERN’ has offered very interesting courses for Erasmus students. Second reason is that I like your climate and third is the costs of living which are very similar to those in Poland. My favourite courses were Business Planning and Dynamic Entrepreneurship, because I didn’t have any chances to listen those kinds of courses in Poland. Since I’m planning to start a business in the future, these were very important for my professional development.

Borja Columbrans Aroca
I come from Spain and since I’ve never been in Zagreb I wanted to discover “a different” Erasmus experience. I’m so happy I chose your city and your country. Regarding the courses at VERN’, my favourite was Media Industry and I also want to commend your lecturers who are very accessible and always available for a talk after classes. Great experience.

Iago Gonzalez Gonzalez
I liked studying at VERN' and your city is beautiful and the whole society is very kind and friendly. Regarding the academic part of my stay, I was very impressed with your lecturers who were very accessible and very thoughtful about transferring us the best possible knowledge. I was most impressed by the level of English language which is used on classes, because there are no many courses on English in Spain. I also like the location of VERN', in city's centre, because my faculty in Spain is away from the city. I have experienced many memorable moments, travelled with my fellow students and had a good time in Croatia.

Ana Magdalenc
Since I'm coming from Slovenia, Croatia is like my second home and I also spend summers at Dalmatian coast which I adore. Studying at VERN' have been very interesting for me, because I've been able to follow courses on Croatian but also ones with my Erasmus colleagues. Your lecturers are very interesting and professional, student groups are small and classes are interactive, which I've liked very much. The best thing – lecturers have transferred us professional and competitive knowledge which we are really going to need in professional lives.
