VERN's foreign Erasmus students met corporate innovations at “Corp2in” conference in Zagreb
Foreign Erasmus students from Finland, Germany, Spain and Netherlands who study exchange semester at VERN' have visited conference “Corporation Innovation and Intrapreneurship 2017 (Corp2in)” which was held in Zagreb on November 9th.
The visit was organized as a field work at the Erasmus course Dynamic Entrepreneurship which is led by lecturer Gordana Ćorić, MSc. and it was a unique opportunity for students to find out about trends in Croatian innovative entrepreneurial community, as well as an opportunity to share comments and contacts with few VERN’s lecturers and alumni who participated at the conference like Emir Džanić, Goran Radman, etc.
At the conference our foreign colleagues met the difference between innovation cultures, ecosystems and innovation environments in Norway and Croatia, learned about how to access the innovation process and how to create innovative capacities but also which Croatian companies are building their competitive advantage by stimulating innovations.
Besides that, this was an opportunity for some students to get more familiar with a term “intrapreneurship“ and they were very interested in advices on how to manage dynamics of business growth and how to keep the most creative employees.
“The conference was an inspiring experience and had a lot of interesting participants. It was good to hear successful stories about intrapreneurship since I was not that familiar with the topic. I would recommend this conference to everyone who is interested in innovation and intrapreneurship“, said Lauri-Juhani Setälä, student from Finland.
“Attending the he conference was a nice experience and I think I learned to think differently about corporative way of thinking. It was a very stimulating atmosphere”, said another Finnish student Kasper Arnivaara.
