″Cro Summer Job″ – student's sesonal jobs fair

Within International Tourism Fair CroTOUR 2011, “Cro Summer Job“– seasonal jobs fair, organized by the ZSM-VERN' Students’ Association, will be held from March 23 to March 26 at the Zagreb Fair .

The fair will gather in one place both the students interested in finding seasonal or part-time jobs and tourist companies that started searching for seasonal workers. This is an ideal opportunity for students to meet employers to whom they will be able to give their CV's on the spot, apply for vacant jobs or gather information on employment conditions.

During a four-day fair, more than 30 companies, who cooperate with the tourist sector either directly or to some extent, will present their work to visitors. Students from whole Croatia will, in an organized manner, visit the fair. The President of the Republic of Croatia, Ivo Josipović, the Croatian Employment Service, the Chamber of Trades and Crafts and many other institutions which gave their support to the job fair, recognized the significance of the initiative.

In order to better inform students about available professions and possibilities in tourism, many domestic and foreign lecturers will hold presentations in pavilion 8 on self-employment in tourism on Friday, March 25. Manageress of Tourism Department at Zagreb School of Management – VERN’, Romana Franjić, and her deputy Željko Trezner will also lecture. Professor Trezner’s lecture on “How to start your own tourist agency?” will begin at 17:00, and professor Franjić’s lecture on “How to become an animator and event manager?” at 18:00. Lectures will be held within UHPA (Association of Croatian Travel Agencies) Saloon, educative part of CroTOUR fair organized by the Association of Croatian Travel Agencies.

Single ticket for CroTOUR fair is 20 Kuna and a ticket for a student group visit costs 8 Kuna per person.
