HUP – UPO

The Croatian Employers Association (HUP) founded the Association of Employers in Education

Within the auspices of the Croatian Employers Association (HUP), a new branch association was founded, HUP - Association of Employers in Education (HUP – UPO).

The Association was founded at the initiative of HUP's members who are engaged in the business of providing education, who will in joint effort contribute to creating positive changes in the educational sector. Among the members is also the executive director of VERN', Ozren Jureković, who was appointed as deputy president of the Executive Committee.

The Association will continually follow and analyze the educational sector and the possibilities of significant influence of the private sector on the adjustment of the educational system to satisfy the needs of the economy and labor market. Since education is one of the key branches of each economy and one of the levers of development of society's competitiveness, the Association will actively involve in the processes of creating educational policy and promoting importance of culture of study and ongoing professional education.
