International mobility

VERN's Erasmus students leave for international mobility exchange program

In the framework of the Erasmus mobility competition some ten scholarships were awarded for the academic year 2011/2012.

The following six VERN's students won scholarships for international exchange in the form of participation in the mobility exchange semester, while three colleagues won scholarships for aninternational internship abroad.

International exchange:

1. Samanta Stepić Kučinić  (3^rd year, Tourism) – Institute of Tourism Studies, Malta 
2. Ana Antolić (3^rd year, Entrepreneurial Economics) – University of Huelva, Spain
3. Matea Beranek (3^rd year, Entrepreneurial Economics) – FH Vienna, Austria
4. Valentina Turčan (2^nd year, Tourism) – Tourism, FH Wien, Austria
5. Romano Jukić (3^rd year, Entrepreneurial Economics) – University of Huelva, Spain
6. Mario Daniel Božanja (3^rd year, Entrepreneurial Economics) – University of Huelva, Spain

 International internship:

1. Mario Dimač (1^st year, Management of Sustainable Tourism Development) – internship at the hotel industry in Germany or Austria
2. Dora Špehar (3^rd year, Tourism) – internship at the Croatian Tourist Board in Ljubljana  
3. Tina Miličić (3^rd year, Entrepreneurial Economics) – internship at the International Agency for Food, Agriculture and Environmental Protection, located in Helsinki, Finland

In addition, prior to their departure for international mobility exchange, VERN' provided all its young Erasmus students with an intensive English language proficiencz program free of charge, in cooperation with the American Fulbright program.
