VERN' Sport

Congratulations to VERN's athletes for the successful season – great success of sports teams

Sports Season 2016/2017 has been marked by the exceptional success of our students in team sports. Along with the traditionally successful basketball and futsal players, this year's great achievements also came from VERN's handball team and female basketball team.

Since there hasn't been any European champions this season our sport teams competed only at domestic university championships and league competitions, and basketball players even fought for the top of Croatian basketball league – the Premier League.

Only at the team competitions, our students have won the respectable 7 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze team cups in the past season.

Basketball – male (champions of the 2nd Croatian Basketball League – A2 Centre, 3rd place in qualifications for the Premier League, champions of the Croatian University Championship, champions of the Zagreb University Championship)
