VERN's foreign Erasmus students guests of the round table at the 3rd International Franchise Fair
Foreign Erasmus students who study summer semester at VERN’ University visited the 3rd International Franchise, Advisory and Financial Services Fair (FEC 2017) which was held at Opatija in early June.
They were the main guests of an important round table at which they discussed about the franchising in the countries they came from and the discussion was moderated by Katalin Mandel, PhD., the CEO of Hungarian Franchise Association.
"Our students did a great job. They were well prepared and they presented their countries very good, and this will be an important part of their final grade at the course Franchise business", said Ljiljana Kukec, MSc., the lecturer at this course and also the president of the Croatian Franchise Association who participated at the organization of this fair.
This year’s fair have joined seven countries (Great Britain, Italy, Serbia, Slovenia, Hungary, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Croatia) and about thirty franchises, which attracted a significant interest of small investors. A significant public interest for this fair and its workshops indicates that this is an interesting topic among the existing entrepreneurs as much as among the people who are willing to take their first entrepreneurial steps.
