Humanitarian mission – VERN’ students for Dubrava Centre for Autism
More than satisfactory results of Christmas humanitarian mission for the Dubrava Centre for Autism organized by the University of VERN’s students got its actual meaning these days.
Throughout a 10-day mission of selling greeting cards made by the children from the Centre and VERN’s students, 7000 Kuna was collected. VERN’s Management Board decided to add an equal amount so the total in this mission rose up to 14 000 Kuna.
In agreement with Centre’s employees and their professional help, students ordered stuff necessary for the decoration of a playroom-classroom that were just these days delivered and assembled. In that way, the children from the Autism Centre got functionally equipped playroom-classroom that will definitely put a smile on their faces and ease their rehabilitation.
We would like to thank VERN’s professors and students who participated in the mission with their valuable contributions and to all the people of good will that also joined this holiday’s bestowal.
