DESCRIPTION OF THE COURSE: Media culture and media literacy are the new basic knowledge of successful business today. In this context, the course explains the meanings of words (mass) media, shows the connection of the new media, new technologies and all forms of promotional communication, and represents the key positions of the more known theory of the media.

OUTCOMES: Students become familiar with the issues of media ethics, media rights, media ecology, and the relationship between the media and the public.

TEACHING METHODOLOGIES: Through discussions, lectures and exercises the specificities of the spoken word, letters, books, photos, radio, newspapers, film, television, the internet and mobile communications media are analyzed.
The course is equipped with its own specially-made animations and multimedia contents.
