Erasmus+ project: Croatian designers at the entrepreneurship workshop at VERN'
In the framework of the Erasmus+ project "Practicing Design" a workshop titled "Introduction to business skills / Development of project assignment” has been held at VERN’ University of Applied Sciences. Attendants of workshop were domestic product designers, technologists of forestry, graphical and technological designers, eager to expanding their knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship, but also our Alumni Irma Mihovec Schmidt who graduated at the subject of design and she is developing her career in that field.
Among many renowned domestic and international experts and mentors in the field of entrepreneurship and design, who are engaged as lecturers, workshop at VERN' has been led by our lecturers Diana Plantić Tadić, PhD., Deputy Chair of the Department of Economics and Marketing, Gordana Ćorić, MSc., Deputy Head of the Study Program Entrepreneurship Economics and Ivan Tanta, PhD., Head of the Study Program Managing Business Communications. Besides them, other lecturers were product designer Ivana Borovnjak, architect Iva Šilović Grabovac, Danijela Domljan, PhD., master of design and renowned Croatian designer and typographer Damir Bralić.
This project aims to find new and innovative design practices that can help in bridging the gap between education outcomes and demands of labour market, as well as to adopt practical business and entrepreneurial experience.
